'Turok 1', 'Turok 2' News & Update: Turok Remastered In Development For Xbox

According to GameRant, the dinosaur hunting games "Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" and "Turok 2: Seeds of Evil" are the premiere games before "ARK: Survival Evolved" arrives on the scene. Several gamers look back to these games with fond memories. For those who miss these games, you should stop reminiscing because you can get your hands on it with your Xbox in the future. Night Dive Studios just confirmed that the remastered version of "Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" and "Turok 2: Seeds of Evil" will be coming to Xbox."

CinemaBlend reported that one "Turok" fan asked Night Dive Studio about the game. "@NightDiveStudio Any news on Turok Evolution or you bringing certain games to consoles?" The team answered back with "@AlexSGregory We're currently planning on bringing Turok and Turok 2 to @Xbox" confirming that the game is in development for Xbox.

Per the report, the player has to maneuver a Native American badass to fight the terrifying dinosaurs using knives, a bow and arrow, shotguns and similar tools. Among the challenges in the gameplay are the evil tribal dudes that can ride the dinosaurs, the carnivorous plants, giant bugs and monsters that "Turok" players will encounter along the way.

Some dinosaurs can carry guns and comes with cybernetic enhancements. There are also traps and puzzles to solve. All of these are among the challenges that make "Turok" a challenging and enjoyable game.

It's not yet confirmed if the "Turok" remastered will hit both Xbox 360 and Xbox One since Night Dive Studio only mentioned "Xbox." Other reports claim that "Turok" will only be available for Xbox One, others are hopeful that it will also arrive for Xbox 360 and some others wish that "Turok" would be available on all consoles.

However, per mxdwn.com, when Night Dive Studious was asked about other consoles, the team just replied with, "We're evaluating other platforms but can't confirm at this time."

"Turok" remastered is already available for PC.
