Samsung Galaxy TabPro S: A Quick Rundown Of How Beautiful It Is

While the race is on for the art of perfecting the perfect Windows-operated tablet, Korean tech giant Samsung is calmly joining the race with its all-new convertible, the Galaxy TabPro S.

An earlier report from Parent Herald stated that with the Galaxy TabPro S Samsung has beautifully combined good aspects of the iPad Pro and Surface Pro, fusing it into one good-looking machine. And although Samsung's doesn't equal the power that both devices possess, it doesn't punch your cash out of your pocket like how Microsoft and Apple do.

Now that the ironically-named-like-a-smartphone PC is featured in the recent CES 2016, closer looks and hands-on experiences with the device show that it really is a promising competitor in the market alongside HP's new Spectre X2 and Lenovo's Yoga 900.

PC World reports that one of the key features that make the Galaxy TabPro S stand out is its beautiful 12-inch super AMOLED screen. Being an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen, it features deeper blacks and more vivid and accurate colors. The tech website says that even in comparison to the Surface Pro 4's good-looking and higher-res display, the Galaxy TabPro S's still stand out.

The Galaxy TabPro S's innards, composed of an Intel Core m3-6Y30, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB of internal space, might not sound that powerful or overwhelming. However, it still works well and at par with the Surface Pro 4's base model. One good thing is that the Galaxy TabPro S brings along with it a keyboard cover that buyers won't have to purchase separately -- it comes included in the box.

One caveat though is the apparent need for more ports, as the Galaxy TabPro S only has one USB Type-C port in it. Another is that there are only two viewing angles for which you can set up the screen. You simply can't have it all with this gadget, but still, you don't pay too much for it anyway.

Cnet notes that Samsung has given much value in the Galaxy TabPro S, including a sleek keyboard cover that comes included in the purchase price, as well as that beautiful AMOLED screen and everything else, packed inside a frame slightly thinner than the iPad Pro. The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is priced at $899.
