April Fools Day 2016: How To Trick Your Kids

This is the time of the year when everyone is exempted to goof around. To help you get in the spirit, we give you tricks that you can use on your kids this April Fool's Day.

It has been an annual tradition to most Americans to play pranks on each other every 1st of April. We've gathered fun and harmless jokes you can play around with your kids. Check out these tips from Parents and Huffington Post:

Make Brown Es

Almost everyone will fall for this trick. Prepare a tray, put in brown-colored cut-out letter Es, and cover it with a foil. This will trick everyone into thinking that you actually baked fresh brownies for them.

Fake Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This one is a delicious prank! The fake grilled cheese sandwich is actually a pound cake with buttercream. Serve them as an after-school snack or put this inside their lunch boxes. Check how to make the face grilled cheese sandwich in The Sphores Are Flying.

Faux Cookie Dough

This actually looks like the real deal. It has even the texture of a real cookie dough. In reality, though, it's actually a bean dip. In a food processor, blend in 1 and a half cups of chickpeas, 6 tablespoons of brown sugar, a quarter cup of peanut butter, 3 tablespoons of oats, a tablespoon of milk, 2 teaspoons of vanilla and a pinch of salt and baking powder. To make it even more real, fold in a third cup of chocolate chips. Serve with apple or any fruit slices.

Balloon Avalanche

Instead of hiding a bucket of water above the doorway, have fun and exchange it with balloons this April Fool's. The kids will definitely be delighted to open their doors in the morning to a shower of balloons. To create this surprise, check out Simply Kelly Designs' suggestion.

Fake Broken Bone

The Parents notes that every child has secretly wished to show up in school with a broken limb. Aside from basking in all the attention, the kids get to collect loving signatures of well-wishers. To make the fake cast, check out the materials needed and the instructions from Parents.

Upside Down World

This simple trick can be loads of fun! Turn the picture frames in your house upside down. These will definitely make your kids laugh out loud.
