Education technology has become essential in the social and emotional learning of students. However, most school leaders and educators lack the skills to use technology in improving the learning process.

The ultimate goal of education technology is to improve the learning process and increase the performance of the education system using technology. It is the systematic designing of instructions or training used to improve performance. However, most school leaders are not equipped with the necessary skills to use the tools mostly available today.

The Hechinger Report tells of a growing problem that most school leaders face in dealing with education technology. While most schools provide computers and internet connection in most of their classrooms, even the underprivileged ones, most school leaders are not equipped with the necessary skills to use these tools to improve the learning process.

The school leaders are deemed as a critical key to the success of any learning process, including technology. They should be prepared to lead the use of these new tools, just like teachers are leading the way to improve classroom instructions using technology.

Blended Learning School per Teach Thought, is a method of learning that combines classroom and online education. Also known as hybrid learning, it integrates online with traditional face-to-face instructions in a timely and valuable manner.

Since most school leaders like principals and some educators have identified the lack of venue to learn technology, programs with blended learning are now offered to them. These programs take blended learning to the next level to keep educators up-to-date with technology.

What Are The Different Blended Learning Programs Offered?

The Friday Institute at North Carolina University is designed to train principals how to use technology tools to better improve the education system in their schools. Meanwhile, the University of Pennsylvania offers the same training too. Most notable is the conservative The Lexington Institute moving to the next level by offering pieces of training for innovative school leaders.

More teachers are now braving their way towards a new paradigm in teaching. Inspired by their school leaders, teachers are now challenged to learn technology.
