'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Air Date, News & Update: 'SNL' Spoofs Show With A Hilarious Preview

"Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage was the host of last week's "Saturday Night Live." As fans have expected, the award-winning comedy did not pass up the opportunity to poke fun at "Game of Thrones" season 6.

"SNL" treated fans with a so-called preview of the new seasons by taking them behind-the-scenes, all the way to the making of the CGI dragons, which play a big part in "Game of Thrones" season 6.

The Dragons in the "SNL" sketch get a real-life counterpart. Behind the formidable Drogon is Bobby Moynihan, who plays a shriek-loving mocap performer in this "Game of Thrones" season 6 parody.

In the "Game of Thrones" season 6 sketch, Moynihan can't seem to control his bladder and ends up peeing in his dragon pants after being asked to hold it until his scene is done. He also makes his work more fun by saying random stuff during takes.

All throughout, Moynihan makes his dragon noise, which, Inverse assures, adds to the hilarity of the sketch. The "Game of Thrones" season 6 parody features Dinklage as himself while Kate McKinnon impersonated Emilia Clarke (and nailed every bit of that Dany impression).

Taran Killam took on the role of actor Iain Glen who plays Ser Jorah Mormont in "Game of Thrones." He was one of the actors that Moynihan interrupted during a scene. ("War is not a game," he says. "Of thrones..." Moynihan whispers).

This "Game of Thrones" parody is definitely one way for fans of the award-winning HBO fantasy drama to pass time until "Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres April 24.

So far, Kit Harington has been doing his best to make fans believe that he only played corpse in "Game of Thrones" season 6 despite being on the "Game of Thrones" set in Belfast for two months.

"I won't tell you how many episodes I'm lying dead but it's enough that I was out there for quite a while. It's going to be so satisfying when you see it and you realise that I was telling the truth the whole time," the actor told Jonathan Ross in "The Jonathan Ross" via Independent.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres April 24 on HBO.
