Last month, Shia LaBeouf took the world by surprise when reports broke out claiming that he's already engaged to his on-and-off again girlfriend, Mia Goth. But amid their preparations for their upcoming wedding, LaBeouf is reportedly producing a movie about true love.

The latest update on newly-engaged actor Shia LaBeouf seems to be fitting. According to Esquire, LaBeouf is producing a "trippy" film about true love that has scored a soundtrack by Flying Lotus.

The film titled, "LoveTrue," is directed by Israeli filmmaker Alma Har'el. There is no official trailer released for the movie yet but it is expected to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival this month, as per Complex.

"[LoveTrue] is a gender-bending documentary that brings Har'el's signature poetic imagery and fascination with performance in nonfiction to three complimentary stories that seek to demystify the fantasy of true love," the description of the movie read. "[The film] follows three complicated, real-life relationships as they unfold in distinct corners of the country."

Meanwhile, engaged couple Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth were recently spotted enjoying a lunch date at Lemonade Café in Studio City, California on Monday, Mar. 28, Daily Mail reports. The sighting came after they were seen enjoying an Easter Sunday brunch in a restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California.

There were reports claiming that Shia LaBeouf and his fiancée have been bragging their engagement to their family and friends. And the couple's Easter Sunday brunch date with Goth's mom Shayna Saide appeared to prove that the 29-year-old "Transformers" star is in good terms with his 22-year-old fiancée's family, another Daily Mail report reveals.

Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth's engagement came after the couple, who began dating on the set of the film "Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012, told a grocery staff they were planning to get married, Us Weekly notes.

Newly-engaged couple Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth's relationship, however, has not come without controversies. As previously reported, the couple took a break from their relationship after their aggressive argument in Germany in July 2015 that was caught on camera.
