'Justice League Part 1' Release Date, News & Update: Aquaman Possible Antagonist Of Movie; Darkseid & Brainiac Also Considered Villains For Film

With the release of Warner Bros. screen adaptation of DC Comic's superheroes in the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," it just seems natural for people to talk about the next big film project with the superheroes in one cinematic act, which is the "Justice League" film. Although "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" had a lukewarm reception from movie audience, director Zack Snyder is ready to take the big step with "Justice League."

Now, one of the most pivotal characters in every superhero film is said to be the villain. Rumors have been circulating around social media that Aquaman will be possibly the first antagonist in the "Justice League" film.

This Aquaman theory comes from a Heroic Hollywood's El Mayimbe on his YouTube show "Heroic Insider" wherein he discussed the possibility of Aquaman being the one of the antagonist in the "Justice League Film." "Supposedly in Justice League, it's a conflict, or war, with Atlantis early on in the movie...Supposedly they [Batman and Wonder Woman] go down to Atlantis. But Aquaman is not having any of it. And on top of that. Here is something cool. The Amazonians and Atlanteans don't like each other. They have a thousand year old conflict," El Mayimbe said.

This is one possible storyline for the "Justice League" film. However, it will not last too long and that there are more unknown forces that the "Justice League" superheroes must fight. One of these forces is Superman villain named Brainiac, who will be an intergalactic threat the superheroes will be facing. Another villain that might possibly be a "Justice League" antagonist in their first film is the ruthless tyrant Darkseid, who had numerous references and hints in the "Batman V Superam: Dawn of Justice" film.

There are so many possibly villains who can play as the main antagonist in the "Justice League" movie. However, choosing the right one is pivotal to the story line. Zack Snyder has a lot on his shoulder with this one, especially after the criticism "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" got.
