Elizabeth Hurley, Cool Mom At 50: Estée Lauder Model Goes Silly At Son Damian's Birthday

Estée Lauder model Elizabeth Hurley is a cool 50-year old mom to, now 14-year old, son Damian. Hurley recently showed off her fun side when the "Austin Powers" actress celebrated Damian's birthday.

The Daily Mail reports that Elizabeth Hurley posted a few selfies of her and Damian on his birthday. The photos are not only striking because Hurley has maintained her youthfulness and beauty at 50. The photos also displayed the uncanny resemblance between the "Bedazzled" star and her only child. Hurley and Damian could have been twins, just a good many years apart.

As a mother, Elizabeth Hurley seems impressively able to maintain a good connection between her and her teen-aged son. Hurley reportedly enjoys engaging in activities with her son, including going biking in the desert. Damian was even Hurley's date at "The Royals" series premiere. One of the more recent getaways that the Estée Lauder model took with Damian had been in Italy.

The Mirror reports that Elizabeth Hurley even gamely put on a royal costume in support of Damian's recent school project. Hurley posted a photo of herself in a queenly green gown complete with crown and sceptre.

On his part, Damian is reportedly as supportive of his mom as she is with him. Elizabeth Hurley said that Damian sets her morning wake up alarm for her.

Despite her busy schedule as a mother, a designer, a model and an all-around celebrity, Elizabeth Hurley manages to squeeze in time to stay fit and healthy. A separate report by The Daily Mail reveals that Hurley does pilates and keeps active throughout a given day. Hurley admits, though, that she would want to do more pilates than she does now.

In Hurley's words, the "Bedazzled" actress "runs around" a lot during the day. Hugh Grant's ex also thinks that spending time at the gym is a good way to stay toned and has, in fact, recently signed up with one. Needless to say, whatever Elizabeth Hurley is doing works impressively well for her at 50.
