The NBC series "Grimm" has been renewed for Season 6, as NBC recently issued a press release regarding the show's renewal on TV.

"We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons," said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. "They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can't wait to see what comes next."

"Grimm" Season 5 spoilers from the press release hint that Nick (David Giuntoli) will do whatever it takes to protect Adalind, their child and the city of Portland from the Wesen uprising. Nick and Capt. Sean Renard's (Sasha Roiz) relationship will also be tested when the latter pulls up all kinds of tricks just to secure his power and authority.

The cast and crew of "Grimm" Season 5 also expressed their reaction to the show's renewal for Season 6 on social media, reports TV Series Finale. Claire Coffee, who plays the role of Adalind, shared a photo of herself looking pretty excited over news of the show's renewal on TV.

Meanwhile, "Grimm" Season 5 spoilers for the upcoming episode entitled "The Believer" will see Nick and Hank (Russell Hornsby) take on the case of an evangelical preacher "who uses his Wesen identity to gain more believers," states Carter Matt.

Eve will also try to use Adalind's tricks in order to learn more about Black Claw. Capt. Renard, on the other hand, will continue with his pursuit for more power in the government.
