'Avengers: Infinity War' Spoilers, News & Update: 'Thor: Ragnarok' To Set Events for 'Infinity War'; Thor Dies And Resurrects?

Marvel is working on a number of superhero flicks and Avenger fans will surely love it because after the anticipated "Captain America: Civil War," there's more to come. There will be several superhero solo films like "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Doctor Strange" as we wait for the next big war, "Avengers: Infinity War."

So, how are all of these films relate to each other? Since every character belongs to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) they have a default connection. Per MoviePilot, the upcoming flick, "Thor: Ragnarok" may set the events of "Avengers: Infinity War."

In the "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is trying to collect all Infinity stones, which leads to a confrontation with his brother Loki and a possible encounter with Thanos, who he, himself is interested with the stones to gain power and immortality.

Lawyer Herald reported that in "Thor: Ragnarok," Loki and Thanos will be the biggest threats to Thor. In fact, there are rumors that the God of Thunder will die and resurrect to join the future film in MCU.

Whether Thor dies or not, Kevin Feige already hinted that "Thor: Ragnarok" will be bigger and better than the previous "Thor" installments. "This is a very important movie for us in phase three... We plan on taking Thor to another level. It picks up where we leave Thor in Avengers: Age of Ultron and impacts everything that comes after" per Games Radar. This suggests that the events in "Thor: Ragnarok" will influence the events in "Avengers: Infinity War."

Back to the Infinity Stone, Parent Herald previously reported that one of the remaining Infinity Stone would be featured in "Doctor Strange." This is one of the major elements in the film.

Previous reports revealed that "Avengers: Infinity War" will include over 60 unique Marvel characters, and fans can expect Doctor Strange and Thor in it, alongside the green monster, Hulk whom everybody missed after "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"Thor: Ragnarok" will premiere on Nov. 3, 2017. Meanwhile "Doctor Strange" will hit the big screens on Nov. 4, 2016, and Marvel fans can see them altogether in "Avengers: Infinity War" that is slated for release in 2018.
