Anne Hathaway Welcomes First Child With Adam Shulman! Baby Boy's Sweet Name Revealed

Anne Hathaway is officially a new mom! The actress and her husband, producer Adam Shulman, welcomed a baby boy named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 24, which was about two weeks before they revealed the good news to the press.

Hathaway, 33, first revealed her pregnancy in January via an Instagram post. In the photo, the movie star proudly showed off her growing baby bump while sporting a red bikini at the beach.

Since her announcement on Instagram, the "Intern" star has stepped out in public, including at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscars Party held in February and at the LA Art Show & Los Angeles Fine Art Show in January. Hathaway was with Shulman during both events.

Baby Shower

On March 5, Hathaway held an intimate baby shower at a friend's house. Her guests, which included Camila Alves, brought gifts that were monogrammed with the letter "G," People reported. One of the presents she received was a bassinet from Trico Field and clothes from Barneys New York.

A source told People at the time of the baby shower that "both Anne and Adam seem very excited about the baby," adding that the actress "looks great and seem very happy." The insider continued, "Anne hasn't really slowed down at all. She was always very active and likes to be out and about. Nothing seems to have changed after she got pregnant."

Being Husband and Wife Didn't Change Anything

Hathaway and Shulman got married in Big Sur, California in September 2012 after getting engaged a year prior, Us Weekly wrote. In an interview with People in January 2015 to promote "Song One," an indie film she co-produced with Shulman, Hathaway said that their marriage transformed the dynamic of their relationship in a good way.

"We both talked about it beforehand, and how it wasn't going to change anything, but something shifts," Hathaway shared, as quoted by People. "I didn't realize that I was keeping a part of myself protected, and it's kind of all on the line now. I'm his and he's mine."
