'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' Release Date, News & Update: Opening Sequence Stornger Than 'The Last Of Us'; Game Gathers High Praises From Rival Developers

Although it is sad to see a video game coming to its own end, it is always something to look forward to especially since game developers make it the best they can make. One of the video game that will meet its end soon is the popular "Uncharted," which will end with "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." According to game developer Naughty Dog, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has one of the strongest opening sequence.

Naughty Dog is known to create some of the best opening sequences in video game history. One of their most powerful yet is the opening sequence to their video game "The Last of Us." However, Naughty Dog's communication director, Arne Meyer, believes that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" opening sequence will surpass that of "The Last of Us."

"In my personal opinion, this is our strongest beginning, opening sequence for games since the Last of Us, which was obviously very emotional," Meyer told PlayStation Espana (via NeoGAF). "But I think this is probably one of the best opening sequences as well. That feeling of wanting to keep playing and wanting to know where it goes continues the entire game."

This is also not the first time that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" got high praises because Sam Lake, Quantum Break's developer, commented that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" "raises the bar." Of course, Naughty Dog will pull all of the stops for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" knowing that this will be the last installment in the long time running video game.

"Neil, thank you for raising the bar and for inspiration," Sam Lake wrote on the cover of "Quantum Break" video game to Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann, the director of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" launches on May 10 exclusively for PS4. Tune in on Parent Herald for updates!
