'The Winds of Winter' Release Date, News & Update: George RR Martin Takes A Break To Interview Stephen King; Daenerys Targaryen And Tyrion Lannister Will Die In The Book?

Fans of George RR Martin's "The Winds of Winter" has been waiting for the book for over four years already and up to now it is still unknown when the book will be out. There are reports circulating online that Martin is taking a break from "The Winds of Winter" to interview another author. Is this a good news or will it delay "TWOW"?

George RR Martin Has Two Events On the Way

International Business Times reported that George RR Martin will halt writing "The Winds of Winter" to interview Stephen King. Per the report, Bookworks event director wants to make King's tour memorable so he decided to invite the "The Winds of Winter" author.

Stephen King and George RR Martin share the same agent, so they have a connection. Meanwhile, aside from that event, Martin will also be hosting an event in Coceteau with King's son Joe Hill for the latter's book, "The Fireman." George RR Martin will not be reading any chapter from "The Winds of Winter" but more likely fans will be asking about his progress on the much anticipated book.

With two events on the way, will this affect the writing of "The Winds of Winter?" Parent Herald previously reported that George RR Martin will not work on anything until he finishes "TWOW" but it seems that he is now busy with other events.

Two Character Will Die In The Book?

Meanwhile, Yibada reported that there are rumors that Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister will die in "The Winds of Winter." The promo trailer of "Game of Thrones" season 6 seemed to suggest that the mother of dragons and Lannister may be dead. Since "The Winds of Winter" are still left in the dark, many believe that the TV show will be arriving with a few spoilers about the book.

However, it is still unsure if the events in the show will be similar to "The Winds of Winter," especially that the HBO production has already said that the TV show will divert from the book. Thus, Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister's fate are still not sealed in "TWOW."

What do you think, will Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister die in "The Winds of Winter?" Will George RR Martin finish "TWOW" before "Game of Thrones" season 7? Share your thoughts below.
