‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Hollywood Premiere: ‘GoT’ Casts Tease The Fate Of Jon Snow

The cast of "Game of Thrones" attended the Season 6 premiere at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday. The likes of Maisie Williams, Dean-Charles Chapman, Daniel Portman, and Lena Headey, among others, graced the red carpet premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 and teased everyone of Jon Snow's fate.

According to Vanity Fair, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) revealed that Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) will not be in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. However, she added that there are a lot of stories "Game of Thrones" Season 6 will unfold, like Arya's.

Sworn To Secrecy

Since "Game of Thrones" Season 1, stars have been prohibited to tell story details of the "Game of Thrones." Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) warned her co-stars of the consequence they have to face when they break the rules.

"Those who violate these rules will be boiled alive in their children's blood," Lena Headey said. Hence, Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen Baratheon) plainly said Jon Snow is indeed gone and the truth hurts in "Game of Thrones."

Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), then, told people to just "get over" Jon Snow's death as there are a lot of people dying in the "Game of Thrones." Moreover, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 showrunner, David Benioff, unveiled that Season 6 "was a beast to make," Entertainment Weekly reported.

"We shot 680 hours of dailies, which translates to 3.7 million feet of film," David Benioff explained. "Game of Thrones" Season 6 is shot in five different countries: Northern Ireland, Spain, Croatia (like Dubrovnik), Iceland, and Canada, with the help of 900 staff and crew in Belfast and 400 in Spain.

"We issued 140 script revisions. We [shot two] units a day for 22 weeks straight, three units a day for 10 weeks straight, four units for two weeks straight" David Benioff added. The "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Hollywood premiere is the only screening that "GoT" will have, which happens to be top secret, too.
