'Star Wars' News, Cast & Update: New Fan Theory About Rey's Origin Might Be True!; Solide Evidence Found!

The anticipation for a news "Star Wars" film is very high. Although there will be one coming soon to theaters, which will be the 8th episode of the growing "Star Wars" saga, there are still a lot of questions from fans about the last episode, "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens."

One of the biggest questions of "Star Wars" fans is the mysterious past of Rey (Daisy Ridley), where did she come from, who is her parents and whether she is connected to the Skywalkers. Fans of "Star Wars" have created their own theories as to who Rey is. Some have said that Rey was a young Padawan, a Jedi in training that survived during Anakin Skywalker's attack in the Jedi temple. While other fans of "Star Wars" have theorized that Rey is the daughter of Jedi, Luke Skywalker.

Now, a new theory has emerged again. This time, "Star Wars" fans have a pretty solid case. In the latest "Star Wars" film, "Star Wars VII: The Force Awaken," a small scene shows Rey being left in the planet she has resided in. One Reddit user called Smokey-eye has screen captured that scene, which shows the ship.

According to Smokey-eye, the ship in the latest "Star War" films looks extremely familiar to a ship that had an on and off appearance in the old "Star Wars" comics. Specifically, the "Star Wars" comics being mentioned is Marvel's "Star Wars" Issue 89 from 1984, a year after the release of the "Star Wars" film, "Return Of The Jedi."

In the "Star Wars" comics, the ship is owned by none other than Luke Skywalker himself. The story of the "Star Wars" comics revolves around Luke Skywalker dealing with the fallout of the Battle of Endor, collapse of the Empire, the death of a love interest that confronts his thirst for revenge.

Could it be that this love interest of Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" comics could be Rey's mother? And that Luke Skywalker took it in his hands to protect Rey by hiding her off somewhere in the "Star Wars" galaxy after Kylo Ren, Han Solo and Leia Organa (Luke Skywalker's twin sister) son turned to the dark side?

What do you think of the new theory? Is it possible? Share your thoughts!
