Parenting 101: J.K. Rowling Gives Harry Potter-Inspired Parenting Advice To Mom Of A Killing Curse-Casting Son

Oh no! Are you a parent to a child who constantly cast a killing curse on you? Well, worry no more because "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling is here to save the day!

A Las Vegas-based mother contacted author J.K. Rowling on Twitter to ask for some parenting advice on Friday, April 15. According to Mashable Asia, the dilemma of the mother was her son's use of the infamous "Harry Potter" killing curse, "Avada Kedavra."

"@jk_rowling My son's using 'Avada Kedavra' on me instead of saying 'i hate you.' Makes me wish there were more killing curses. #HarryPotter," the mom tweeted.

Since the mother's concern was in reference to her wizardry novels, J.K. Rowling also gave a "Harry Potter"-themed parenting advice. On Monday, the 50-year-old author responded the perfect solution to her problem was doing the "Dobby eyes," Radio Times notes.

It wasn't the first time that J.K. Rowling gave an advice on Twitter. As per Today, a fan had also reached out to her in February and her dilemma was sadness. "@jk_rowling could you please teach me how to scare the dementors that have been living under my bed? i'm tired of being sad all the time," a fan wrote on Twitter. While Rowling responded, "They're bothering a unique, valuable human being who deserves happiness. Ask for help. Don't fight alone. Big hug."

In other related news, J.K. Rowling recently shared the wand designs of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," on Twitter. Each of the wands reportedly designate the wizard they belong to and what it's made of, Entertainment Weekly learns.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will also feature two original "Harry Potter" characters. J.K. Rowling confirmed the appearances of Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy in the stage shows, Metro reveals.

Meanwhile, J.K. Rowling and Sir Elton John were recently named as Britain's most charitable celebrities. According to The Guardian, both stars have donated a large proportion of their wealth to charities.
