"Steven Universe" Season 3 spoilers are noting on the possibility that Peridot will fuse with another gem during an upcoming episode of the CN series. In an interview with Comic News Insider's podcast, series creator Rebecca Sugar hinted on an entirely musical episode in Season 3, reports Movie Pilot.

Sugar revealed that music plays an important role in "Steven Universe" and explained how the songs usually dictate what else should be included in an episode. Sugar said that the songs will be written first then the storyboard artists will introduce some of these aspects to the writers, who will then include them in the story later on.

Sugar also revealed that in "Steven Universe" Season 3, fans and viewers will have an entirely musical episode, with seven songs in 11 minutes. She added that Shelby Rabara, who is the voice behind Peridot, will be doing a tap dance.

"There's a scene with tap dancing, and when you hear it it's actually Shelby dancing," she said.

The publication notes on the possibility that Peridot will fuse with another gem in "Steven Universe" Season 2 since dancing often leads to fusion. Fans can recall that Peridot almost fused with Garnet in the episode entitled "Log Date."

Meanwhile, one of the most famous love stories in "Steven Universe" will be translated into a children's book, reports io9. According to the publication, Sugar will be retelling the story of Ruby and Sapphire through a book titled "The Answer."

Sugar will be writing the book and Elle Michalka and Tiffany Ford will be working on the graphics of the "Steven Universe" book.

"Steven Universe" Season 3 premieres this June 2016 on Cartoon Network.
