John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Are Simply Elated With New Daughter Luna [Picture]
Ever since Chrissy Teigen got pregnant, John Legend and wife are simply walking on air. The new parents welcomed their first child, daughter Luna, last Thursday.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are simply elated when they welcomed their 6 pounds, 11 ounces daughter Luna last Thursday. "John and Chrissy have been wanting this for a long time," a source tells People. "From the minute they found out she was pregnant, they've been walking on air. Now the baby makes their family even more joyful and happy."
In earlier reports, Teigen told People previously that she won't be hiding her daughter from the world. Not disappointing, she took to Instagram and posted the first picture of their daughter Luna Simone Stephens on Tuesday, ET reports.The photo shows herself holding her newborn daughter, Luna Simone, in her arms. She captioned the adorable snap, "hi my lulu!" revealing the baby's new nickname as well.
More so, ET confirmed through a source close to the couple that Luna's middle name, Simone, is a tribute to John Legend's idol, the late singer and activist Nina Simone. John Legend also posted to Twitter the arrival of their daughter. Meanwhile, earlier this week, Teigen being her witty self, posted this on Twitter:

The Lip Sync Battle host and the "All of Me" singer used in vitro fertilization to conceive Luna. They are planning on adopting the same method if they decide on getting pregnant again. "The number of embryos we have left is not matching the number of people I want at my dinner table, so I'll have to do it again," Teigen added.
