"Sense8" Season 2 air date is still unknown, as Netflix has not yet announced the official release for the show's upcoming season. International Business Times reports that the show was initially expected for a release in June 2016 given the previous season's release on Netflix.

One of the show's writers, Bryce Olin, posted on Reddit that everyone has been hoping to release "Sense8" Season 2 on June, reports Blasting News. However, the said release date for the show seems very unlikely given the complexity of the show's production.

Others are also hoping to see "Sense8" Season 2 premiere on Aug. 8, 2016 given the date's significance to the show and its characters. Fans and viewers can recall that the show has been officially renewed for Season 2 on Aug. 8, 2015, which also happens to be the eight Sensates' birthday.

While it remains to be seen whether "Sense8" Season will premiere in June, August, in late 2016 or in early 2017, latest set photos reveal that the cast are already simultaneously filming in India and Italy. Miguel Angel Silvestre, who plays Lito, shared a video of their hotel's scenery in Italy and asked Tina Desai and Bae Doona to say thank you in Indian and Korean, respectively.
