‘Fast 8’ Release Date, News & Update: New Teaser Photo Revealed, Vin Diesel Looks Lonely [PICS]

Vin Diesel revealed the first unofficial photo teaser of the upcoming eight installment of the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, "Fast 8," on his Facebook page on Wednesday. However, the "xXx" star was alone in the movie poster and looked lonely without his pal, Paul Walker.

According to Huffington Post, the image has no caption and believed to be made by a fan. In the snap, the film's title was "Furious 8," instead of "Fast 8."

It also has a catchphrase, "New Roads Ahead," as this will be the first time Vin Diesel will be doing "Fast and the Furious" without Paul Walker. Also known as Dominic Toretto, Diesel was standing beside a car in an open road looking somewhere far.

Perez Hilton reported the new photo teaser was not a surpised to be seen as it still includes the emotion of the lost of Paul Walker. However, the late actor's character as Brian O'Conner made a remarkable exit with the help of his brothers, Cody and Caleb, and CGI effects.

Vin Diesel might feel a little emotional without the presence of Paul Walker, but some said it might not be the real image for "Fast 8." The publication added if the production companies holding "Fast 8" will change its title, it has to be known.

Meanwhile, E! Online noted Vin Diesel teased there will be a lot of revelations coming in "Fast 8." To recall, the 48-year-old actor unveiled on his Instagram page "Fast 8" will be a trilogy, making "Fast and the Furious" franchise a total of 10 films.

"Fast 8" will also include new stars like Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood while Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson are set to reprise their roles. "Fast 8" is going to hit the theaters on April 14, 2017 while "Fast 9" and "Fast 10" are on April 19, 2019 and April 2, 2021.
