'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers, News & Update: Fate Of Jon Snow Revealed In His Eyes; First Episode To Show What Melisandre Can Do?

Jon Snow's fate in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 is still much-talked about as many still wonder if Jon Snow is alive or dead. But, "Game of Thrones" showrunners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, insisted that Kit Harington's character is indeed gone as seen through his eyes.

To recall, as per MStarsNews, Jon Snow's final scene in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 ended in a close up scene of his eyes. "Game of Thrones" EPs David Benioff and D.B. Weiss revealed to Variety how much work and effort they exerted in the episode, "Mother's Mercy," to show Kit Harrington's death.

David Benioff unveiled they have spent a lot of time making sure his eyes will dilate. In fact, D.B. Weiss agreed and added they used up "good money" to make it possible.

D.B. Weiss went on to explain that a man's "pupillary muscles relax[es]" when one's body starts to give up, as per Spinoff Online. David Benioff, on the other hand, cut him up by saying "like his sphinchter" and added: "It is called a pupillary sphincter, as a matter of fact."

D.B. Weiss justified they searched online on how eyes work when one is about to die. "It said your pupillary sphincter relaxes and your eyes dilate, so if you look carefully, Jon's eye dilates," he said.

Kit Harrington clarified, a number of times, Jon Snow is "definitely dead." However, the 29-year-old actor disclosed he will be indeed in "Game of Thones" Season 6 but, only as a corpse, The Independent cited.

In the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 short trailer, as seen above, Jon Snow was seen guarded by Ser Davos and Ghost and they seemed defending his dead body. Also, a lot of "Game of Thrones" fans assumed Melisandre is going to make Jon Snow back to life as they have seen other Red Priests resurrect "people in the past."

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 1 will be titled "The Red Woman," which believes to be Melisandre. Hence, "Game of Thrones" enthusiasts think the first installment will focus more on her character and what she will do.
