Simon Cowell's girlfriend Lauren Silverman in labor, giving birth in same room as Beyonce

Simon Cowell's girlfriend Lauren Silverman is reportedly in labor.

According to New York Daily News, Cowell, 54, didn't offer any direct answers to questions as he made his way into Lenox Hill Hospital, located in Manhattan's Upper East Side, Friday morning.

"We'll find out," he said when asked if Silverman was in labor.

However, E! News says a source has confirmed the news, saying Silverman "went into labor very early [Friday] morning and went straight to the hospital."

Silverman's parents are also reportedly there with her.

According to the Daily News, Silverman is staying in the same exclusive maternity ward where Beyonce gave birth two years ago. Known as the Executive Suite, the room, which is equipped with a spacious living area and kitchen, can cost up to $2,400 per night.

Silverman has an 8-year-old son from her previous husband and real estate mogul Andrew Silverman. Many have cited Lauren's affair with Cowell as the reason behind Lauren's divorce from Andrew, who was previously considered a good friend of Cowell's.

In October, Cowell confessed to Parade magazine that when it comes to kids, he's not quite as confident as when it comes to, say, critiquing broadcast vocal performances.

"I'm not brilliant with babies," Cowell said. "I never know what to do."

Still, the TV personality says he thinks he may prove useful yet.

"But [once he's older] I think I'll be a good dad in terms of advice. And then I'll get to do all the things I want to do, like go to Disneyland or Universal Studios, teach him how to drive - I love all that."

When it comes to music, Cowell said he plans on introducing his own tastes to the child.

"He'll listen to whatever I listen to and make his own choices. It's funny - my mom played Frank Sinatra when I was a kid, and because he was her choice, I used to hate it; but I love Sinatra now. He always looked like he was having fun and he didn't conform. That's probably why I've got pictures of him all over my house."
