"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will ultimately reveal which character died from Negan's bat beating after the Season 6 finale showed a cliffhanger. Several fans are already speculating as to which character will end up dead in the upcoming season of the AMC series. Will [SPOILER] die?

This article contains spoilers. Read on if you want to learn more about this story.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is expected to reveal which of the characters will not make it out alive after suffering from Negan's bat beating. Many fans are speculating that Glenn was the one who got beaten and killed during the Season 6 finale of the series.

It also seems like Glenn's death in "TWD" Season 7 is almost confirmed. According to BGR, Steven Yeun is already working on his upcoming film, "Okja."

Filming for "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is expected to begin anytime soon because the series will premiere in October. Given that Yeun is already filming another project, it can almost be taken as a hint that Glenn died in Season 6, which also follows that of what took place in the comics.

Cinema Blend also reports on the casting of an African-American actor in his 40s for a new role in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. The character is reportedly named Augustus, but the publication notes on the character's similarities to a comic character named Ezekiel.

Augustus is expected to "bring a combination of wisdom, oddity and exuberance" to "The Walking Dead." The publication also notes that AMC may have changed the character's name yet again for the purpose of keeping things hidden from fans and viewers.

"TWD" has done the same thing with Negan, whom they called Rich during its early casting calls. If Augustus is really Ezekiel, then this only means that the show is following the storyline from the comics, which also confirms that Glenn will also die in Season 7.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premieres in October on AMC.
