Parents Be Warned! Know These Pedophile Symbols To Protect Your Children From Predators

Pedophile symbols, while innocent in appearance, can signal trouble for children and parents must be warned that these exist. If you're a parent or an adult who has kids to look after, know what these symbols are to protect the children from predators.

Pedophile symbols indicate to the predator who they can target and the unfortunate thing is these usually look pretty harmless. The images are shaped as hearts, butterflies or spirals in pretty colors.

However, a document from the FBI supposedly revealed details to these pedophile symbols, which was uploaded on Wiki Leaks. The pedophile symbols include:

1. Boy Lover - This symbol involves a blue and spiraled triangle. This is supposed to mean that the predator is looking for a young boy.

2. Little Boy Lover - A variation of the blue triangle, which appears to have been scribbled by a much younger child. This is to signify the preference of the predator.

3. Girl Lover - A pink heart symbol, it's pretty similar to the boy lover. This means that the pedophile is looking for a girl to have sex with.

4. Child Lover - This is a butterfly drawn in heart shapes with pink and blue colors. This indicates that the pedophile has no gender preference.

5. Child Love - A logo used by the Child Love Online Media Activism. It seeks to make child pornography and the act of sex with children legal.

Daily Mail reports that the FBI discovered these pedophile symbols in 2007 and have been spotted on blogs, websites and social media. Pedophiles either wear the symbols as jewelry or have these in commemorative coins that they give away. But in some cases, they end up in unsuspecting kids' possessions.

In March, a mom was crushed to find that the toy she bought for her daughter had a pedophile symbol. She attended an event and bought a Monster Jam souvenir for her 2-year-old.

Upon closer examination, it had the Girl Lover symbol. It meant that if a pedophile sees her daughter holding the toy, then she's ready to be "traded for sex," per WFLA.

The toy's manufacturer, Feld Inc., has pulled the toys with the pedophile symbols from the market after learning of the incident. "I had no idea there was an underlying meaning of these symbols and the deplorable behavior. We just don't know if a crime was committed here," a company spokesperson told WFLA.
