After Ditching 'Friends' Reunion, Matthew Perry Meets Matt LeBlanc Again At 'The End of Longing' Play In London

It's refreshing to see famous New York roommates Chandler Bing and Joey Tribbiani in one frame again. Matthew Perry who plays Chandler in the long-running sitcom "Friends" wasn't able to join his co-stars at the highly-anticipated reunion early this year, but Joey played by Matt LeBlanc found a way to see his old bud again by watching "The End of Longing" in London.

Matthew Perry's 'The End of Longing'

The play is Matthew Perry's brainchild, his first foray in playwriting where he also stars as one of the main characters. It is a dark comedy about how one night in Los Angeles entangles the lives of four people and triggers them to tackle their relationships' dark side.

As reported by The Telegraph, Matthew Perry's busy rehearsal schedule prompted his absence in the tribute to sitcom director James Burrows, the man who helped him in his big break as Chandler Bing. According to MTV, the NBC network gave a two-hour-long tribute to the director for his 1,000 episodes in television. The tribute featured the reuniting of the Friends' cast together with other actors from "Cheers," "Taxi," "Frasier," and "Will & Grace."

Fans were disappointed with Matthew Perry's absence but there's no bad blood between his "friends" as Matt LeBlanc flew to London and watched "The End of Longing." The new Top Gear host posted a photo of him and Matthew Perry on Instagram with the caption, "Went to see The End If Longing last night and ran into this dude. He and the cast were great. Way to go bro."
