‘Girl Meets World’ Season 3 Spoilers, News & Updates: Lucas Dumps Riley; Shawn And Katy Getting Married?

Disney recently released a teaser promo for "Girl Meets World" Season 3 and fans are even more excited for the upcoming season. As the show is expected to provide a resolution to the love triangle between Riley, Maya and Lucas, is the trailer hinting that Lucas will dump Riley and be with Maya?

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 is expected to provide answers to the longstanding love triangle between Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer). While fans are already rooting for their respective teams - "Rucas" or "Lucaya," the recently released teaser promo hints on a rift between Riley and Lucas.

According to The Wrap, the first promo for "Girl Meets World" Season 3 showed that Riley and her friends will have to go through a lot of changes now that they are entering high school. In one scene, Riley asks Maya to promise that they will always stick to each other.

However, before Maya can give her promise, the bell rings and they find themselves separated amongst the crowd. Lucas will also seem to face some problems with the seniors in "Girl Meets World" Season 3.

What was most interesting in the "GMW" Season 3 clip, however, is the scene where Lucas tells Riley that she is too much for him and walks away. This made many fans wonder if this meant that Lucas will dump Riley.

While it remains to be seen whether Lucas will dump Riley and be with Maya in "Girl Meets World" Season 3, M Magazine notes on an upcoming wedding in the Disney series. Ben Savage recently tweeted a photo of an upcoming episode of "GMW" titled "Girl Meets I Do."

This led to speculations that there will be an upcoming wedding in "Girl Meets World" Season 3. Several fans believe that Cory and Topanga will renew their vows while others insist that Shawn and Katy will finally tie the knot.
