Hulk Hogan News & Updates: Former WWE Star Files Another Lawsuit Against Gawker For Leaking His Racist Rant

Hulk Hogan is seeking vengeance against Gawker for the second time for allegedly leaking a secretly-recorded tape of the former wrestler making racist remarks. The ex-World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star has previously won a $140 million lawsuit against the media website for leaking his sex tape.

The new lawsuit states that Hulk Hogan -- whose real name is Terry Bollea -- was fired from WWE and lost endorsement deals because of the leaked racist clip of the former wrestler, Huffington Post reported. This has resulted in the ruin of the 62-year-old star's reputation and finances, according to the lawsuit.

"Mr. Bollea said from the beginning that he would seek to hold all persons and entities fully responsible for their wrongful actions," Hulk Hogan's attorneys said in a statement. The WWE legend can be heard on the leaked tape making racist remarks against the African-American boyfriend of his daughter Brooke, the New York Post shared.

However, Gawker will not go down without a fight against the new lawsuit from the former WWE star. "It's time for Hulk Hogan to take responsibility for his own words, because the only person who got Hulk Hogan fired from the WWE is Hulk Hogan," the media website stated on Monday via Huffington Post.

In the previous lawsuit on the leaked sex tape, the jury awarded Hulk Hogan $60 million for emotional distress, $55 million for economic damages and $25 million for punitive damages. Gawker is currently challenging that jury's decision to avoid paying millions of dollars to the former WWE star.
