Michael Is In Danger In 'Jane The Virgin' Season 2

In "Jane The Virgin" Season 2 "Chapter Forty Two," Michael starts his new temporary job as a technical adviser for Rogelio's combat scenes in his telenovela. He's sitting out being a real cop pending an investigation by his superiors for allegedly botching Sin Rostro's case.

But while watching Rogelio on the set, Michael had an epiphany in connection to the case he has poured on so much work. He calls Susanna and explains his hypothesis about Derek. By the end of the episode, it was revealed that Derek is actually working with his mother, Elena, who is also known to the police as Mutter.

The police and Michael have been looking for Mutter all season long. Could Derek's mother have been the one stalking Michael? Bustle suggests someone is watching Michael to make sure that he doesn't find out about Derek and Mutter.

'Jane The Virgin' Season 2 Finale Details

"Jane The Virgin" showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman is not about to squeal on what really happens to Michael, but she already has set ideas for the whole series. "On this show, you have to plan like every inch of it because there are so many, many stories in each episode," Urman said per The Hollywood Reporter.

She even has a plan in case Jane does finally lose her virginity. The show will be re-titled to simply "Jane" as it has "never been about Jane's virginity," Urman said in a panel interview on Deadline. But in order to get to this, Jane has to marry first. Will the writers delay this marriage as much as they can by risking losing a character?
