'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 News & Updates: Iwan Rheon Explains Ramsay Bolton's Shocking Infanticide And Patricide In "Home"

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 2 definitely provided fans with what they have been waiting for since last year: the resurrection of Kit Harington's Jon Snow. But "Home" also gave Robb Stark fans the long-awaited and well-deserved death of Roose Bolton, who had assassinated the King of the North way back in the third season of "Game of Thrones."

Better yet, he was killed by his own son Ramsay Bolton, who might not be so happy about committing patricide. "Game of Thrones" star Iwan Rheon talks about how his character reacts to Roose Bolton's murder and even compares him to Stalin!

Ramsay Bolton Is Stalin?

Iwan Rheon recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the gruesome family massacre (via io9) in the second episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 and the actor confirmed that Ramsay Bolton's actions against Roose Bolton were caused by the need to become Lord of Winterfell.

"It shows a level of ambition we've not yet seen," Iwan Rheon said of his "Game of Thrones" character. "His problem solving is quite basic."

Rheon also likened the "Game of Thrones" character Ramsay Bolton to Josef Stalin in his methods to remain in power. "It's very similar to how a lot of how totalitarian dictators solve their problems by getting rid of anybody in their way, with a very Stalin-y way of doing it," he said.

Did Ramsay Want To Kill Roose Bolton?

Although "Game of Thrones" fans may have been waiting for someone, ANYONE, to kill Roose Bolton for what he did to the Starks in the third season, Iwan Rheon shared that killing his father was not in Ramsay Bolton's plans. "It's not calculated, it's reactionary," Rheon said of the unexpected murder. "And it has an effect on him, which he didn't expect."

It was quite obvious that Ramsay Bolton himself was shocked by his actions in the "Game of Thrones" episode titled "Home," since he looked terrified as he stabbed Roose Bolton in the heart. He also appeared slightly concerned as he released his hounds onto Roose Bolton's new wife, his stepmother and day-old half-brother.

Will Someone PLEASE Kill Ramsay Bolton Already?

But will we finally see the death of Ramsay Bolton in "Game of Thrones" Season 6? There are speculations that the newly resurrected Jon Snow will go up against the current Lord of Winterfell, who has decided to attack Castle Black to find Sansa Stark against Roose Bolton's advice. The third episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 can indeed get bloodier.
