Yeezy Season 2 Coming In June: Kanye West Pieces Not In Collaboration With Adidas, Yeezy Boost Photo Leak!

The upcoming release of Kanye West's YEEZY Season 2 in June is being surrounded with rumors and confusion. It has been said that YEEZY Season 2 will not be under adidas and will be independently produced under "The Life of Pablo" singer's own line.

"As a first of several launch announcements planned for this year, the highly anticipated YEEZY footwear collection from Kanye West's own signature line will be released globally on June 6, 2016," Pete Fox, the President of Kanye West's Yeezy line, said in a statement. YEEZY Season 2 will be available in selected boutiques and stores, as well as online, as per Highsnobiety.

It is quite distinct Pete Fox didn't mention adidas at all within the released statement -- indicating that adidas isn't part of the said collection. However, reports claim that this isn't something new, since YEEZY Season 3 was believed to have been produced apart from the adidas brand -- a lot like YEEZY Season 2.

Then there's Nice Kicks, who pointed out that Pete Fox's statement doesn't necessarily mean that the adidas Yeezy Boost won't be released in the near future. "It just means they won't be released on June 6 as previously assumed," wrote the author, Darren Griffin.

Meanwhile, details about the upcoming YEEZY Season 2 now emerge as new photos of the Yeezy Boost sneakers surfaced online, Hot New Hip Hop noted. In fact, A$AP Bari tweeted an image of Yeezy Boost sneakers but, took it down later. If the materialized pictures are real, Yeezy Boost sneaker will have a new model called Yeezy Boost 550.

Yeezy Boost 550 is higher in the ankle, has a more identified zebra line in Primeknit fabric and clear sole. Another Instagram user shared a snap of the Yeezy Boost 350, which is quite close to the looks of the original Yeezy Boost, except it bears a big stripe across the footwear and has a "SPLY-350" lettering.
