‘Divergent’ actress Shailene Woodley says she does not fall in love based on person's gender

The "Divergent" actress, Shailene Woodely claims that she does not really have a type when it comes to love, according to reports.

In her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 22-year-old celebrity explained: "I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are."

Woodley is also the type of person who likes connecting with people, even strangers and loves hugging them all. She shared on the show: "It's kind of like, hey, I'm real. You're real. Let's connect."

Shailene also talked about the upcoming release of her movie 'Divergent' on Good Morning America's 100^th episode.

She dished that at first she was very hesitant to accept the role but Jennifer Lawrence herself asked her to reconsider. Lawrence told Woodley that she must consider doing the role because it is most likely that she won't regret it.

Woodley remembers what Lawrence said and shared: "Yes, there are some hard things, but there are so many beautiful things that will come from an opportunity like this."

The actress also shared on the show that she does not have a permanent home just yet and that she is not fond of wearing fur or diamonds for ethical reasons. She is also fond of wearing vintage clothing.

"I'm going to be a citizen of this planet, and I'm going to do my responsibility and live in stride with nature instead of constantly fighting against it."

When asked what her plans are for the next couple of years, she replied, saying: "I might open a restaurant, and it's going to be like a restaurant in the morning, dance club at night. Who knows!"
