Filming for "Teen Wolf" Season 6 has already begun and the cast and crew have already filmed a couple of episodes through the season. While it was initially expected that the MTV series will premiere in June, Movie Pilot reports on several possibilities for the show following Dylan O'Brien's accident.

Dylan O'Brien was reportedly injured while filming his upcoming movie "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure." It was earlier reported that the 24-year-old actor will resume filming on May 9, but a recent statement from his publicist revealed that O'Brien may have been severely injured and may need more time to recover.

This led to speculations that either "Teen Wolf" Season 6 airdate may be delayed or another actor may play the role of Stiles in the MTV drama. There are ongoing rumors on the Internet that One Direction member Harry Styles will be taking over O'Brien's role in the series.

Meanwhile, an earlier interview with showrunner Jeff Davis with Hypable revealed that there will be "big changes coming" in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Davis told the publication back then that part of the big change includes Scott and Lydia.

This made many "Stydia" fans excited because they have been waiting for a progress in Stiles and Lydia's relationship since the past seasons of "Teen Wolf." Davis also hinted that the theme for Season 6 is friendship.

"The first part of season 6 is very much about Stiles and Scott's friendship," said Davis.
