Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez besties no more, thanks to Justin Bieber

Taylor Swift is ditching Selena Gomez after the latter decided to reunite with Justin Bieber, according to reports.

Swift allegedly disproves of Gomez's decision to get back together with Bieber, especially after all of his recent legal troubles.

Sources revealed to Us Magazine that the "Red" singer has started distancing herself following Gomez's brief relationship with Ed Sheeran last year. Sheeran is a close friend of Swift and the country singer reportedly felt he was just used by Gomez to make Bieber jealous.

Us Weekly reported that the latest news about Gomez and Bieber spending the past weekend together was the last straw for Swift.

Last August, Gomez said during an interview with USA Today: "I think girls need to be more supportive of each other. I definitely agree with that. I'm all about that. Taylor has been one of those girls. We have been friends for five years. She is very strong. She doesn't care what people think and she inspires me."

March 7, Bieber sent Gomez $10,000 worth of flowers and flew from Miami to McAllen, Texas to spend time with her. Two days later, the former Disney Channel star accompanied Bieber to the SXSW music fest where he sang his hit single "As Long As You Love Me" to her.

A source told Hollywood Life that Swift is simply jealous of Gomez's happy reunion with Bieber. The source also confirmed that Bieber couldn't care less about what Swift thinks of him and that they never mention her name when they are together.

"She finds Justin to be one of the worst people she has ever met. She hates him and hates that he has this control over Selena," the source said of Swift.

Hollywood Life also reported that Swift asked Gomez to choose between their friendship and her relationship with Bieber.
