In a recent post, Lou Diamond Phillips hints on his and Zahn McClarnon's character may work together in the upcoming season. What else is in store for Walt, Vic and the rest of the characters?

"Longmire" Season 5 spoilers reveal that fans and viewers will see more of Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Mathias (Zahn McClarnon) working together in the upcoming season. According to Carter Matt, Phillips replied to a fan who praised him and McClarnon on the show.
Phillips hinted that his character will be spending more time with McClarnon in "Longmire" Season 5. Apart from this revelation, Katee Sackhoff also shared on Twitter that they are almost done filming episode 5.

This means that they only have to film the remaining five episodes before "Longmire" Season 5 airs on Netflix. Given this timeframe, the publication notes on a possible fall premiere for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, TVLine revealed that "Longmire" Season 5 will be dealing with an Irish crime family. Walt (Robert Taylor) will reportedly find himself busy looking for members of an Irish crime family, while he is working on the case of a drug-related murder.
"Longmire" Season 5 is also expected to show romance between Walt and Vic (Katee Sackhoff), as their relationship happens in Craig Johnson's books. An earlier post from the show's official Facebook page also seemingly hints on their relationship, but several fans thought that Walt and Vic are better off as friends and colleagues.
The upcoming season of "Longmire" will also reveal who was responsible for the attack on Walt. As seen on the finale episode of Season 4, he and Donna were sharing an intimate moment together when someone broke into the house.
