Government Insider Says US Not Interested In UFOs; Impliedly Dispels Cover-Up Conspiracies

A government insider, former member of the Department of Defense (DoD) involved in oversight of various intelligence organizations like NRO, CIA and NSA said that the government is not interested in UFOs. In the number of years that he has been working with compartmented divisions, he said he has not seen any concrete interest by U.S. in UFO-related stuff.

Christopher Mellon has been in the government for about 20 years. At the time that he spoke publicly regarding government's involvement in these extraterrestrial beings, he said that the government has no interest in these things, as per Huffington Post.

Hillary Clinton And UFOs

One personality who made pronouncements regarding the unearthing of evidence and data that would give answers to UFO existence was Hillary Clinton. According to Mellon, even as Secretary of State, Clinton is not within DoD, and access to DoD compartmented programs were all on a "need to know" basis. Hence, Clinton is more of a recipient of any intelligence information rather than one "involved" in any of it.

When asked if the government is concealing any information on UFO, Mellon said that he highly doubts that DoD conceals such information. He went on saying that for the longest time that he has been with government and have even gone to controversial areas like Area 51, he has not detected the "faintest hint of government interest" in UFOs.

Belgium And England UFO Sightings

Mellon didn't however shrug off the number of sightings that were recorded in some European countries like Belgium in 1989, as per UFO Evidence, and England in 1993. These incidents were said to have been witnessed by many people and have remained "a mystery" up to present.

In the event that Clinton is elected and would make inquiries on the existence of UFOs, Mellon said that UFO "conspiracy theorists will be angry and unconvinced." He also said that when that happens, the public may just conclude that UFO subjects aren't worth their time.

On the other hand, Mellon advocates an investigation into the UFO sightings. For him, the data gathered over time were too strong to ignore. A formal scientific investigation into the matter would be proper.
