John Legend Defends Wife Chrissy Teigen Against Internet Trolls: Asks For ‘Dad-Shaming’

John Legend comes to his wife's rescue after Chrissy Teigen is continuously bullied online by the internet trolls. The "All of Me" hitmaker defended the mother of their newborn baby Luna on his Twitter page on Tuesday and asked for a fair "dad-shaming" instead.

"Funny there's no dad-shaming," John Legend tweeted. "When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it."

John Legend obviously got tired of the online shamers for constantly embarrassing Chrissy Teigen on her motherhood ways. The 37-year-old singer found it off that all the blame was for her wife to bear and no one comes after him.

To recall, according to PerezHilton, Chrissy Teigen was in hot waters for leaving Luna at home for a date night out with John Legend. The Sports Illustrated cover model was dissed incessantly for going on dinner with her husband, John Legend.

Chrissy Teigen, on the other hand, responded to the internet trolls in her own classy way. The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host took a screenshot of her critics' negative comments and share it on her Twitter account, People reported.

"I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!" Chrissy Teigen tweeted. The 30-year-old star even quoted one of her bashers' remark in a separate post.

Chrissy Teigen explained that she never intended to leave her daughter, emphasizing that she do love her. "BUT THAT'S JUST ME' - the passive aggressiveness is real!" she next shared.

Meanwhile, in spite of all the criticisms, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen celebrated the latter's first mother's day at ease, as per Page Six. "Ordinary People" singer shared an intimate photo of their kid, Luna, with a lengthy message for his wife on his Instagram account.

John Legend started his sweet note by saying that he and Luna are lucky to have her in their lives. He, then, added that he will be "happy and proud" if their daughter will be like her and greeted her "Happy 1st Mother's Day!"
