'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Episode 4 Highlighted Daenerys Targaryen, Sansa Stark, Brienne Of Tarth

The women of Westeros are now the ones calling the shots in the HBO show. "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 4, "Book of the Stranger," did not just reunite Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) or give Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) the firepower to win the Dothraki army that will bring her the Iron Throne. "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 4 teased a possible romance for Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie).

Sansa Stark Convinces Jon Snow To Take Back Winterfell

Fans have been hoping for any of the Starks to finally be reunited, and "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 4 delivered a tearful reunion between Sansa Stark and Jon Snow in Castle Black (via Winter Is Coming). Their meeting then took on a rather vindictive tone as Sansa Stark tries to talk Jon Snow into attacking the Boltons and winning back Winterfell. The scene revealed that Sansa Stark has changed in "Game of Thrones" Season 6, and is no longer going to be anyone's pawn. Sansa Stark has finally taken the pivotal role of commanding the Battle of the North.

Daenerys Targaryen Saves Herself And Wins The Dothraki Army

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 4 also had a few clumsy moments, as Jorah Marmont (Iain Glen) and Daario Naharis attempt to rescue Daenerys Targaryen in Val Dothrak. Fans will forgive their uninspired tactics, if only for letting Dany take control and giving "Game of Thrones" Season 6 one of the most visually stunning conclusions. The Mother of Dragons is back, and Daenerys Targaryen is ready to take the Iron Throne.

Brienne Of Tarth Gets An Admirer

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 4 had a delightfully light moment in Castle Black when Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) couldn't keep his eyes of Brienne of Tarth (via ComicBook). But that doesn't mean that Brienne of Tarth was just the new apple of Tormund's eye in "Book of the Stranger." The episode also found Brienne confronting Melisandre (Carice van Houten) and Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham).

What Happens Next?

"The Door" also teases on a meeting between Sansa Stark and Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen), which could mean some trouble for Littlefinger. "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 5 airs on HBO on May 22.
