'Arrow' Season 4 News & Update: Stephen Amell Teases Oliver Queen's Iconic Green Arrow Goatee Is Back

"Arrow" Season 4 star Stephen Amell has famously declared that he would never sport Oliver Queen's Green Arrow goatee on the show. However, the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" star still ended up having to wear the DC superhero's iconic blond facial hair in an episode for "Legends of Tomorrow." Now it looks like Stephen Amell is once again growing his Green Arrow goatee for a new episode of "Arrow" Season 4!

The Green Arrow Goatee Is Back!

Stephen Amell has just posted a new photo on his official Facebook page that shows the actor in his Green Arrow costume from "Arrow" Season 4. The image, which appears to be taken from SnapChat, has been captioned "The beard moves along." Stephen Amell also referenced his previous tweet about never growing the Green Arrow goatee followed by a self-deprecating note about his statement.

The Green Arrow Goatee Tweet

Although Stephen Amell had previously tweeted that he would NEVER wear the Green Arrow goatee, the "Arrow" Season 4 star also decided to compromise with fans that he would grow his facial hair if the CW show will get renewed for a sixth season. Stephen Amell even stated that he would do it although he wasn't certain if the "Arrow" producers will like the Green Arrow goatee. Nevertheless, it looks like the producers liked the idea and the Green Arrow goatee might finally debut on "Arrow" Season 4.
