Good news, Henry Cavill lady fans! The 33-year-old "Man of Steel" actor is reportedly single again. According to Daily Mail, Cavill has broken up with his 19-year-old girlfriend Tara King, who was allegedly shattered since she believed he was "the love of her life."

"Henry and Tara have split - it is official," an insider told The Sun. "Henry said the two of them could remain friends and he even invited her to his recent birthday party, which she went to, but the relationship is over. It has been very difficult for Tara, who has been saying he was the love of her life."

Unexpected Breakup

Henry Cavill and Tara King's breakup, however, came as a surprise since Cavill has been gushing about his relationship with King less than two months ago. In fact, "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." star has been openly praising his ex-ladylove for her maturity, protectiveness and overall brilliance, Page Six notes.

"She protects me and is protective of me when I am having a hard time," Cavill said of King last month. "She's there when I need looking after and the world is a little too heavy.Then she will happily take that weight for me and make sure I am OK."

Henry Cavill also added that Tara King, a Bristol University student, allowed him to be himself, saying she treated him like a normal human being. Meanwhile, the ex-couple met at Mahiki nightclub in London and went out as an official couple during the Rugby World Cup in Twickenham in October.
