'Girl Meets World' Season 3 To Have A 2-Part Premiere

The Wrap reported that Disney Channel would premiere the first two episodes of "Girl Meets World" season 3 over the first weekend in June. So, that means that we are only three weeks away from reconnecting with Riley and Maya.

Per the report, the two-part premiere episode will be split up with "Girl Meets High School Part One," airing on Friday, June 3 and the second part airing on Sunday, June 5. Both episodes will fill the 8:30 p.m. ET time slot.

'Girl Meets World' Season 3 No Love Triangle

Many are looking forward to Maya, Riley and Lucas' love triangle in "Girl Meets World" season 3. Unfortunately, if this is what you are just after, you might be disappointed. "Girl Meets World" creator and showrunner Michael Jacobs revealed that the new season is beyond the budding romance between the teens who are going to high school.

"If the audience perceives that what this is about is a love triangle, then they don't know us," Jacobs told the Wrap. "There is a much bigger and broader conceptual question that we are answering with what appears to be a triangle between Riley, Maya and Lucas."
