‘Dancing With The Stars Finale’: Ginger Zee Might Not Grace The Final Showdown Because Of A Severe Injury

The "Dancing with the Stars" finale is now being filled with tension as Ginger Zee might not be able to grace the final showdown. The weather anchor of "Good Morning America" is suffering from a severe injury of her pelvis while rehearsing with Val Chmerkovskiy.

 ABC News confirmed that Ginger Zee has an injured in her pelvis and not yet sure if she can perform on "Dancing with the stars" Finale on Monday. With that, the meteorologist of ABC World News Tonight is also experiencing muscle spasms in her lower back.


According to Fox News, Ginger Zee disclosed that she went to "Dancing with the Stars" physical therapist, Gina Minchella, and told her that her pelvis is dislocated and "an inch off." "I came back the next day, and [my pelvis] was backward and an inch the other way," she added.

Gina Minchella found that she has a sacral instability and lumbar or lower back sprain. However, Ginger Zee made fun of it by saying that her pelvis is moving around but cleared that it is actually loose as she just delivered her baby.

Entertainment Tonight reported "Dancing with the Stars" dance member, Jenna Johnson, will be standing for her during the camera blocking in the preparation of the final showdown. Ginger Zee is trying her best to get better in hope that she can dance on "Dancing with the Stars" finale.

In "Dancing with the Stars" preview episode, she is seen bursting into tears while Val Chmerkovskiy is trying to help her while they are practicing. But, Ginger Zee explained that she is not crying because of pain but with the thought of she might not be able to join "Dancing with the Stars" finale.

It has been known the last minute rehearsals are vital in the upcoming final showdown which makes her frustrated, Daily Mail cited. Ginger Zee described that for a non-professional dancer like her, practicing is important that could give her confidence while onstage. If she didn't do that perfectly, it scares her a little.
