[VIDEO] 'Beauty And The Beast' First Trailer Spotlights Emma Watson's Belle, Ewan McGregor's Lumiere And Ian McKellen's Cogsworth

The Disney classic "Beauty and the Beast" will finally get a live-action adaptation, and the first trailer for the film has just been released. The "Beauty and the Beast" offers a first look at Emma Watson as the beautiful and feisty Belle as well as a quick exchange between Ewan McGregor's Lumiere and Ian McKellen's Cogsworth!

"Be Our Guest"

The "Beauty and the Beast" first trailer opens with a sweeping look into the Beast's castle, with its mysterious rooms and magical candles (via ComicBook). There is also a lingering look at a painting of a young blond boy that is immediately cut off with claw marks and a growl, hinting on the Beast being angry with the image.

The teaser goes dark in the Beast's castle before the door opens. Lumiere and Cogsworth immediately notice the uninvited guest. "Look, a girl!" Lumiere gushes, to which Cogsworth responds, "I can see it's a girl, you fool!" Lumiere is unswayed. "What if she's the one?" he asks. Everything goes dark before Belle breaks the silence. "Hello?" she calls out quietly.

Beauty And The Magical Rose

The "Beauty and the Beast" trailer offers a glimpse at the magical rose in Beast's castle. There is also a quick look at Emma Watson as Belle as she discovers the flower in its case.

"Beauty and the Beast" is the live-action adaptation of the classic Disney animated film, where a young girl named Belle (Emma Watson) becomes the prisoner of a mysterious Beast (Dan Stevens). Belle remains wary of the Beast but eventually learns to see beyond his looks. "Beauty and the Beast" would be an excellent film for the entire family, where parents who grew up watching the classic movie can enjoy seeing their children relive the magic.

"Beauty and the Beast" also stars Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Lefou, Kevin Kline as Belle's father Maurice, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza. The film is scheduled for release on March 17, 2017.
