'The Flash' Star John Wesley Shipp Teases Earth-3 Jay Garrick JSA Connection With 'Legends Of Tomorrow' Season 2

The last episode of "The Flash" Season 2 finally revealed the identity of the Man in the Iron Mask, who turned out to be none other than Earth-3 Jay Garrick. Although this would have been a major shocker in itself, the Jay Garrick from Earth-3 actually looked a lot like Barry Allen's late father Henry Allen! But will fans see more of Earth-3 Jay Garrick in "The Flash" Season 3?

John Wesley Shipp, who plays both Henry Allen and Jay Garrick in "The Flash" Season 2, may have just confirmed that the Earth-3 character could crossover to "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" as a member of the Justice Society of America!

John Wesley Shipp recently spoke to Variety about his role as Henry Allen and Earth-3 Jay Garrick in "The Flash" Season 2 finale (via TVLine). The actor confirmed that fans haven't seen the last of Earth-3 Jay Garrick, who might be showing up in the second season of "Legends of Tomorrow."

"The fact that I'm now getting to morph into an entirely different character that is so important to the Justice Society of America, which also bleeds into 'Legends of Tomorrow,' he's such an important character to this whole world - it just opens up enormous possibilities for me as an actor going forward," Shipp told Variety.

Is Earth-3 Jay Garrick Moving To "Legends Of Tomorrow" Season 2?

So does this mean that John Wesley Shipp could make an appearance in "Legends of Tomorrow" as Earth-3 Jay Garrick? Shipp appeared to be speaking about "The Flash" Season 3 and how Barry Allen feels about Jay Garrick looking a lot like Henry Allen.

"The challenge for me, having played Henry, is that I now get to create an entirely different character going forward and how that affects Barry - because Barry's going to want to lean on this guy who looks just like his father but is not his father - that can create a whole bunch of psychological conflict too," Shipp continued, adding that he is looking forward to what will happen next in "The Flash" Season 3.
