Fans are understandably excited about new "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" rumors surrounding Elizabeth Debicki's character, who has been rumored to be the villainous Ayesha. Elizabeth Debicki To Play Major Villain In "Guardian Of The Galaxy Vol. 2?"

According to JoBlo, Elizabeth Debicki will portray Ayesha in "GotG Vol. 2." The villainess is also known as Kismet in the comic books, and was a genetic experiment created by The Enclave. Ayesha has cosmic powers similar to Adam Warlock, who has also been rumored to finally be introduced in "Avengers: Infinity War" (via Comic Book Movie). Ayesha's introduction in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" may finally pave the way for Adam Warlock's appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who Is Adam Warlock?

In the comic books, Adam Warlock is known as Him, the product of the Enclave's first attempt at creating the perfect human. Adam Warlock possesses the green Soul Gem, which is one of the Infinity Stones that Thanos is after. The character also has close associations with the Guardians of the Galaxy as well as Fantastic Four.

Will Adam Warlock And Ayesha/Kismet Appear In "Avenger: Infinity War?"

Last year, there were rumors that Thanos is not the only Big Bad who will appear in "Avengers: Infinity War." There have been speculations that the Mad Titan will team up with the evil incarnation of Adam Warlock, known as Magus (via CinemaBlend). If Elizabeth Debicki will confirm to portray the Her to Adam Warlock's Him, there is a possibility that both characters will appear to stir things up not just in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" but in "Avengers: Infinity War" as well.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will premiere on May 5, 2017. "Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1" is scheduled for release on May 4, 2018 while "Part 2" will hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
