‘Days of Our Lives’ Casts & Spoilers: DAYS Has New Abigail Deveraux; Will Fans Love Her?

Here comes another recast of a daytime soap character. After Kate Mansi decided earlier this year that she is leaving "Days of the Our Lives," it was revealed now that they have found the one who will take over as Abigail Deveraux.

In January, Mansi wrote via her Instagram, "After much thought, I've decided the timing was right for me to set sail from Salem. I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every single beautiful and messy moment of being Abigail, and will always treasure our time together."

Marci Miller Steps In

"Dog Bowl" star Marci Miller is replacing Kate Mansi and will be the new face of Abigail Deveraux beginning this fall, Entertainment Weekly reported. Miller started filming for NBC's daytime soap this month. Miller is known for her roles in "Death Race 2050" (2016), "Viper" (2015) and "The Secret of Joy" (2015).

Big Shoes To Fill In

Mansi has done a pretty good job portraying Abigail since 2011 and so Marci may need to prove herself when she takes over the role. At least Abigail won't be killed off like what was rumored earlier this year. Hopefully, fans could adjust to her easily and that she would have a great chemistry with Billy Flynn who plays Chad DiMera. There's still hope for "Chabby" to continue after all.

Fans will still see Mansi on the screen until this June 24.
