Apple customers and fans have been expecting the powerful laptop since the first quarter of the year but despite the delay, the enthusiasm for MacBook Pro remains. MacBook Pro 2016 Confirmed Features

Cult of Mac received a leaked photo of MacBook Pro 2016 chassis from an anonymous source who claimed to be working for Apple's manufacturing partner in China. The photos confirmed the reports that the upcoming laptop will have an OLED panel and USB-C port.

Based on the photos, the MacBook Pro 2016 is equipped with a space for the rumored OLED panel just above the keyboard itself. With its new design, Apple has to relocate the speakers, which are traditionally located at the back of the keyboard. The upgraded MacBook Pro has two speaker grilles on the either side of the keyboard.

Aside from this, it is also confirmed that MacBook Pro features the anticipated USB-C ports. It has four USB-C ports along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

MacBook Pro Other Features

According to MacWorld, MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to sport the latest Intel Skylake processor. There are also talks about the return of the Butterfly key mechanism that was first introduced in MacBook 2015 keyboard. Overall, MacBook Pro is expected to be better and faster.

Aside from its performance, MacBook Pro 2016 is also expected to be more customer friendly in terms of size and price. Parent Herald reported that the new MacBook Pro would be the cheapest and thinnest laptop in the MacBook Pro lineup.

MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are expected to arrive in June at Apple's WWDC event. However, according to recent reports, the new laptops might be delayed. The new MacBook Pro is now expected in the fourth quarter of the year.
