Will Ben Affleck's 'Batman' Movie Feature 'Suicide Squad' Jared Leto's Joker And Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn?

Ben Affleck may have finally been confirmed to direct the highly anticipated "Batman" solo film after DC Comics CCO Geoff Johns admitted that they are both working on the screenplay. But the question still remains: What will Ben Affleck's "Batman" solo film be about? And is there any possibility that "Suicide Squad" characters Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) will be in the movie?

Ben Affleck Confirms "Batman" Solo Film Will Have "Original Story?"

Ben Affleck has previously hinted on the "Batman" solo film having an "original story" featuring story arcs from the Caped Crusader's comic series (via ComicBook). The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star stated that he would be interested in giving it the same treatment director Zack Snyder did with BvS. Ben Affleck's response starts at the 8:32 mark in the video below.

It is still best to remember that "Batman v Superman" suffered from too many story arcs being thrown into one film, but hopefully Ben Affleck will find the right storylines to add into his original "Batman" story. In addition to that, the "Batman" solo film could use some help from characters that have already been introduced in "Suicide Squad."

Will "Suicide Squad" Jared Leto's Joker And Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn Appear In Ben Affleck's "Batman" Solo Film?

There is a long-standing rumor that "Suicide Squad" characters could make an appearance in Ben Affleck's "Batman" solo film, with fans rooting for a cameo from Jared Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. However, it was reported in December that it could be Will Smith's Deadshot who will be featured in the "Batman" solo film (via Screen Rant). If Ben Affleck's "Batman" solo film will feature existing comic book or video game story arcs, there is a possibility that the movie could touch on "Assault on Arkham."

Do you think Ben Affleck's "Batman" solo film should feature "Suicide Squad" characters? Let us know in the comments.
