Cinemax's 'Outcast' Episode 2 Predictions SPOILERS: Patrick Fugit's Kyle Barnes Remembers His Past, Was His Mother Possessed?

The pilot episode of "Outcast" has definitely set the pace for the new Cinemax show based on Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta's horror comic series. But what could happen after "A Darkness Surrounds Him?" Will Patrick Fugit's Kyle Barnes finally learn how he was able to exorcise the possessed young boy? And will he continue working with Philip Glenister's Reverend Anderson to save Rome from the demons in "Outcast" Episode 2?

"Outcast" Pilot Episode "A Darkness Surrounds Him" Recap

The first episode of "Outcast" opens with an unflinching look at a troubled young boy named Joshua Austin, who may or may not be possessed (via Vulture). "A Darkness Surrounds Him" also introduces Kyle Barnes, who is revealed to have been abused by his adoptive mother when he was a child but somehow managed to exorcise her on his own. A quick trip to the grocery with his sister helps Kyle find out about Joshua and he finds himself drawn to helping the boy. The confused Kyle tries to exorcise Joshua the way he dealt with his mother (and ex-wife) but discovers that there is an unusual way to drive the demons out.

The "Outcast" pilot hints that Robert Kirkman's new Cinemax series will get more terrifying with each episode, as Kyle Barnes slowly realizes that he could be the key to defeating the demons that are terrorizing the residents of Rome. But before that, Kyle Barnes needs to understand just what happened to his family.

What Will Happen In "Outcast" Episode 2 "(I Remember) When She Loved Me?"

The second episode of Robert Kirkman's "Outcast" will find Patrick Fugit's Kyle Barnes trying to learn about his past and understanding his family history. If the episode will be based on the "Outcast" comic book issue of the same name, "(I Remember) When She Loved Me" could feature another horrific possession that Kyle Barnes needs to deal with. "Outcast" Episode 2 will air on Cinemax on June 10.
