JA Bayona revealed that he had been reading all the novels by science fiction writer Michael Crichton, who authored "Jurassic Park" and "Andromeda Strain."

The media outlet points out that JA Bayona going into Michael Crichton's work may reflect inclusion in "Jurassic World 2" of untouched and darker components in the novels. Scified also proposes that "Jurassic World 2" will see an integration of philosophical elements seen in the "JP" films.
