"Sense8" Season 2 premiere may be delayed given the behind-the-scenes drama and cast shakeups while the cast and crew were in the middle of production. According to Ecumenical News, the air date for the upcoming season may be pushed to spring 2017.

As most fans can recall, "Sense8" Season 2 will see a different actor play the role of Capheus after Aml Ameen suddenly exited the series in the middle of production. Aside from this, Lilly Wachowski also left the fate of the series to her sister, Lana Wachowski, in order to take some time off and focus on herself.

However, given the fact that Netflix still has not issued an official release date for "Sense8" Season 2, then there is no basis for saying that there is a delay in the premiere of the series. Jamie Clayton also revealed in an earlier tweet that the upcoming season will air in 2017 and the show will also air a Christmas special.

In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the show's cast and crew revealed some "Sense8" Season 2 spoilers. According to Max Riemelt, who plays Wolfgang, much of the upcoming season will see the eight Sensates defeat Whispers (Terrence Mann).

It has also been previously known that the eight Sensates will discover more about their powers, as they chance upon a teacher in "Sense8" Season 2. The upcoming season will also focus on the brewing love triangle between Wolfgang, Kala and Rajan.
